Michael Xu joined Prax in August 2003 as investment director and was promoted to partner in January 2006. He is responsible for deal sourcing and investment analysis, valuation, negotiation, and initial public offerings of the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Prax, Mr. Xu had seven years experiences in venture investment and business advisory in China working for NewMargin Ventures, Kamsky Associates, Inc. and Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Xu received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Ningbo University in China. He is fluent in English and Mandarin. |

Jeff Jie-Ping Yao is Partner and a co-founder of Prax Capital and has been president of Prax Capital's China operations since 2003. Mr. Yao is involved in deal sourcing, institutional relationships, investment analysis, valuation and negotiation, and post-investment management. He is an executive with over thirty years of management experience in Asia. He was a Director and Executive Vice President of Texpack Group since 1989, where he was responsible for the development of Texpack Group's operations in China, Indonesia, Taiwan and India. He also has 16 years of management experience with General Electric & RCA in Taiwan. He holds a BA degree and an MBA from Central University in Taiwan. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Meilan Gan is in charge of deal sourcing and structure, investment analysis and negotiation for Prax Capital's real estate projects. She has over thirteen years of experience in real estate banking, structured finance and direct property development in China. Prior to joining Prax, Ms. Gan had 6 years experience in large scale mixed-use and residential development projects with leading Chinese developers. Previously, Ms. Gan held senior positions with Deutsche Bank in Germany, WestLB and LBBW in Hong Kong where she was responsible for structured real estate financing transactions covering the major Hong Kong developers and their investment activities in China. Ms. Gan is a native of China and holds a BA from Wuhan University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School in Australia. |

Fernando R. Vila is Chief Financial Officer, partner and a co-founder of Prax Capital. In this capacity, Mr. Vila is responsible for the legal, tax and financial aspects of the business, with special emphasis on fund and investment structures, valuations, due diligence and monitoring of portfolio investments. He has more than 20 years experience as President and CEO of Iberia Tiles Corporation, a distributor and retailer of ceramic, marble and natural stone tiles in the USA. He was a Certified Public Accountant and worked with KPMG from 1981 to 1985. He holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University and is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. |
