| At Prax Capital we believe that capital should not be limited to investment opportunities but should also benefit society. Each year, we contribute a percentage of our profits to Prax Capital Charitable Foundation, which was established to contribute towards the social community through the support of educational programs and to encourage environmental protection. Although the majority of funds are contributed by the company, our directors and employees as well as our limited partners have also made donations.
We look to cooperate with organizations and institutions with consistent aims and objectives, such as the New Great Wall program of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. Through this program, Prax Capital Charitable Foundation provided assistance to 50 underprivileged university students to allow them to pursue their studies. Our investment in these students extends to Prax employees spending weekends visiting and speaking with students from various universities with the ultimate goal of seeing these students through graduation.
