Ellen Li joined Prax in 2007 and is responsible for deal sourcing, investment evaluation, due diligence and post-investment management.

Prior to joining Prax, Ellen has over 12 years working experience in direct investment, venture capital investment and investment banking. She was the Vice President of Investment at Crest Capital Partners, Managing Director in Shanghai Census Capital Co., and Assistant Vice President in Government of Singapore Special Investment Co. ("GIC"). Ellen has been involved in over 10 venture capital and growth capital deals, 2 IPO projects in Hong Kong as well as China A-share markets.

Ellen holds a bachelor degree in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA degree from China Europe International Business School ("CEIBS").

Kevin Xu joined Prax in 2007 and is responsible for deal sourcing, investment evaluation, due diligence and post-investment management.

Prior to joining Prax, Kevin spent seven years with KPMG Transaction Services in Shanghai and Chicago offices, with a focus on financial and commercial due diligence covering various industries including manufacturing, retail and consumer goods. Kevin has project managed numerous transactions for both strategic companies and private equity firms for their transactions in China.

Kevin holds a BA degree in Economics from Fudan University and an MA in Economics from the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade. He is a member of the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants).

Charles Wang joined Prax in 2008 and is responsible for deal sourcing, investment evaluation, due diligence and post-investment management.

Prior to joining Prax, Charles has over seven years experience in direct investment, financial advisory and accounting in Temujin Global Asset Management, KPMG Corporate Finance, Parker Hannifin and China Mobile. Charles has helped a number of international and local clients in identifying and evaluating M&A targets, providing financial and commercial due diligence and performing pricing analysis covering various industries.

Charles holds a BS degree from Xi’an Jiao Tong University and a MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.

Larry Lai joined Prax in 2010 and is responsible for deal sourcing, investment evaluation, due diligence and post-investment management.

Larry was most recently the China Sales Director at Siemens where he was responsible for building, developing and managing the China Sales Team. Previously, he was with GE as a Regional Sales Director for GE’s Water Technology operations in North and Central China. Previously Larry has held positions with Meihua Medical Info Tech and China Venture Tech & Land Enterprises in China and Fleet Financial Group in Boston.

Larry holds a dual degree BS in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, an MS in Statistics from Boston University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jason Zhang joined Prax in 2007 and is responsible for deal sourcing, investment evaluation, due diligence and post-investment management.

Prior to joining Prax, Jason has over four years experience in investment banking, financial assurance and advisory businesses in China. He previously worked in ICEA Capital Ltd. and Ernst & Young, providing private Chinese companies with assessment services in both M&A and IPOs in Hong Kong.

Jason holds a BA degree in Accounting and an MA degree in Finance from Shanghai International Studies University, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. He is also a member of CICPA.

Ricky Xue joined Prax in 2010 and is responsible for supporting the execution of transactions and analyzing industries and various sectors.

Prior to joining Prax, Ricky has nearly 5 years experience in enterprise risk management, financial analysis and corporate internal controls in China. He previously worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting firm, providing consulting and assurance services to a diverse range of clients.

Ricky holds a BA degree in Mathematics from Fudan University, beside, Ricky Xue is also chartered holder of CFA, FRM and CIA.

David Qin joined Prax in 2010 and is responsible for supporting the execution of transactions and the analysis of various industries and sectors.

Prior to joining Prax, David worked with the Development Principles Group, a China-focused growth capital fund backed by three European Development Banks. During his over three year tenure, David was involved in the transaction management, due diligence, business & financial analysis, and post-investment monitoring of several growth capital transactions.

David, a CFA candidate, holds a bachelor degree in Economics from China Youth University for Political Sciences and a masters degree in Finance from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University.

Long Qian joined Prax in 2010 and is responsible for supporting the execution of transactions and the analysis of various industries and sectors..

Prior to joining Prax, Long had five years of private equity experience working at Platinum Equity in its London and Paris offices, where he was involved in leveraged buyouts, growth and distressed investments as well as add-on acquisitions and sell-side mandates for portfolio companies.

Long holds a bachelor degree in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a masters degree in Management from ESSEC Business School in France.

Angela Ma joined Prax in 2006 and is responsible for deal evaluation, due diligence and post-investment management.

Angela has over four years of experience in auditing and advisory services with KPMG. She was involved in numerous projects of IFRS and US GAAP conversions, business structuring improvements and post-merger integration.

Angela holds a BA and an MA degree in Economics from Peking University.

Wendy Xu joined Prax in 2007 and is responsible for portfolio valuation, financial analysis and portfolio company reporting and analysis.

Prior to joining Prax, Wendy has over three years experience in auditing and advisory services with KPMG. She has been involved in many projects of IFRS and US GAAP conversions, business structuring improvements and post-merger integration.

Wendy holds a BA and an MA in Economics from Fudan University as well as a non-practicing member of CICPA.

Grace Zhao joined Prax in 2010 and is in charge of building value at portfolio companies with a focus on marketing and business development.

With 12 years of rich marketing experience, Grace has been establishing and managing brands across different industries in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), education, home improvement, pharmaceutical, tourism, etc. With strong business sense, strategic thinking and leadership, Grace headed marketing and brand management for B&Q China, Unilever Magnum Asia, Disney English and made great business and brand success in the market.

Grace holds a bachelor degree of literature from Shanghai University.

Jin Ping has over 8 years of experience in investment banking, specializing in A-share listing. Prior to joining Prax, she was the vice president of Investment Banking at Pacific Securities and had also worked at China World Trade Center and Tianyi Securities. Throughout her career, she has been involved in 4 successful listed A-share IPOs.

Jin Ping holds a BA and a MA degree in Economics from Zhejiang University.

Tyrrell Levine joined Prax in 2010 and is responsible for identifying target sectors, generating investment ideas and providing industry and market analysis on prospective and current portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Prax, Tyrrell was a Principal in the Shanghai office of Javelin Investments, a US-managed M&A advisory firm. At Javelin, he was responsible for managing M&A and consulting projects in China on behalf of multinational clients. Previously, Tyrrell worked at Harvard Business School as a researcher and case study writer and at Jardine Fleming and Core Pacific Securities in Taiwan as an associate in the equity research department.

Tyrrell holds a BA from Oberlin College, an MA from Columbia University and an MBA from CEIBS.

Van Gao joined Prax in 2011 and is responsible for conducting industry and market analysis, identifying target sectors and sourcing potential deals.

Van most recently worked with New Pacific Consulting as a Manager where he led the Power and Energy and Construction Material sectors and worked primarily on due diligence and market entry and expansion engagements for private equity clients. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst with Synovate Business Consulting covering agriculture, chemicals, pulp and paper and printing among other industries.

Van Gao holds a Bachelor’s of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

Victor Wu joined Prax in 2010 and is responsible for conducting industry and market analysis, identifying target sectors and sourcing potential deals.

Most recently, Victor worked with Banco Santander in Shanghai where he participated in a consultancy project to assess the Chinese financial industry and recommend growth strategies in China. Previously, Victor was an Assistant Manager with KPMG Financial Services in Hong Kong.

Victor holds a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from CEIBS. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
